Oh, Taco Ranch Bites — delicious little flavor bombs! Here’s a quick and tasty recipe for Taco Ranch Bites that are perfect as appetizers or snacks, combining zesty taco seasoning with creamy ranch in a crispy shell.


🌮 Taco Ranch Bites

Yield: About 24 bites

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey

  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix (or homemade taco seasoning)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese

  • ½ cup ranch dressing (store-bought or homemade)

  • 24 mini phyllo cups or mini tortilla cups (store-bought)

  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

  • Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, sliced olives, jalapeños, chopped cilantro, sour cream


Instructions:

1. Cook the Meat:

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and cooked through.

  • Drain excess fat.

  • Stir in taco seasoning with a splash of water (per seasoning packet instructions). Simmer for 2–3 minutes until well combined. Remove from heat.

2. Assemble the Bites:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) if using phyllo cups to crisp them up.

  • Place mini cups on a baking sheet (if needed, warm the cups for 5 minutes in oven).

  • Spoon a small amount of taco meat into each cup.

  • Add a little shredded cheese on top.

3. Bake:

  • Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

4. Top & Serve:

  • Dollop about a teaspoon of ranch dressing on each bite.

  • Garnish with sliced green onions and any optional toppings you like.


📝 Tips:

  • For extra crunch, add crushed tortilla chips on top before baking.

  • Swap ground beef for shredded chicken or black beans for a vegetarian version.

  • Use homemade ranch dressing for a fresher flavor.
