Strawberry Delight

Posted on July 26, 2025

Here’s a light, creamy, and fruity Strawberry Delight dessert — a no-bake layered treat that’s perfect for spring and summer gatherings (or anytime you want something sweet and easy).

🍓 Strawberry Delight

Serves: 12 | Prep Time: 20 min | Chill Time: 4–6 hours (or overnight)

🧂 Ingredients:

Crust:

  • 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10 full sheets)

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream)

Strawberry Layer:

  • 1 (3 oz) box strawberry Jell-O

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • ½ cup cold water

  • 1½–2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

  • Optional: 1 cup crushed pineapple, well drained

Topping:

  • Additional whipped topping

  • Extra sliced strawberries for garnish

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Make the Crust:

    • Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined.

    • Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish. Chill while preparing other layers.

  2. Cream Cheese Layer:

    • Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

    • Fold in whipped topping.

    • Spread evenly over crust. Refrigerate while making the Jell-O layer.

  3. Strawberry Jell-O Layer:

    • Dissolve Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in ½ cup cold water.

    • Let cool to room temperature (but not set).

    • Fold in sliced strawberries (and optional pineapple).

    • Gently pour over cream cheese layer.

  4. Chill:

    • Refrigerate for 4–6 hours, or until fully set.

  5. Top & Serve:

    • Before serving, spread additional whipped topping on top and garnish with more fresh strawberries.

💡 Tips:

  • Use homemade whipped cream (1 cup heavy cream + 2 tbsp sugar) if you prefer not to use Cool Whip.

  • For a shortcut, use store-bought graham cracker crust in a deep-dish pie version.

  • Try swapping raspberries, blueberries, or mixed berries for variations.
