For the Chicken:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

For the Pasta:

12 oz (340g) spaghetti

Salted water, for boiling
For the Cream Sauce:

2 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 small shallot, finely chopped (or 1/4 onion)

1/2 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)

1 1/2 cups heavy cream (or crème fraîche for a richer flavor)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan or Gruyère cheese

Salt & pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: zest of 1 lemon or a squeeze of lemon juice
🔥 Instructions
1. Grill the Chicken:

Rub chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Grill in a pan or on a grill for 6–7 minutes per side, until cooked through.

Let rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
2. Cook the Pasta:

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook spaghetti until al dente, then drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
3. Make the Sauce:

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Add garlic and shallot; sauté until soft and fragrant (2–3 minutes).

Deglaze with wine; simmer until reduced by half.

Stir in cream and simmer 3–4 minutes until thickened slightly.

Add cheese, season with salt and pepper, and stir until smooth.
4. Combine:

Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce, toss gently.

Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to loosen.

Top with sliced grilled chicken and herbs.

Add lemon zest or juice if desired for brightness.
