🍓 Slow Cooker Strawberries Recipe
Ingredients:

4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved (or quartered if large)

½ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Pinch of salt
Optional Add-Ins:

1–2 tbsp chia seeds (to make it into a jam)

Fresh mint or basil for garnish

A cinnamon stick for warmth
Instructions:

Prep Strawberries:
Wash, hull, and halve (or quarter) the strawberries. -
Combine Ingredients:
Add strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and salt to the slow cooker. Stir to coat evenly. -
Cook:

Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours or HIGH for 1–1.5 hours.

Stir occasionally if you’re around, but it’s not strictly necessary.

Once soft and syrupy, stir in the vanilla extract.

(Optional) For a thicker, jam-like consistency, mash slightly and stir in chia seeds. Let sit for 10–15 minutes to thicken.

Cool and Store:
Let cool, then transfer to jars or containers. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
