SLICED POTATOES IN THE AIR FRYER

Posted on March 26, 2025
Sliced potatoes in the air fryer are so easy to make and delicious! Here’s a simple method for crispy, golden-brown potato slices:

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet work well)

  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

  • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or other seasonings

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Potatoes:
Wash and peel the potatoes (or leave the skin on if you like a rustic texture). Slice them into ¼-inch thick rounds or wedges, depending on your preference.

  2. Season the Potatoes:
Toss the sliced potatoes in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any other seasonings you like (paprika, garlic powder, or onion powder are great options).

  3. Preheat the Air Fryer:
Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for a few minutes.

  4. Arrange the Potatoes:
Lay the sliced potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure not to overcrowd them to allow for even cooking. If you need to, cook them in batches.

  5. Air Fry:
Cook the potatoes for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. The potatoes should be golden brown and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.

  6. Serve:
Once they’re done, remove them from the air fryer and serve hot. You can sprinkle a bit more salt, pepper, or fresh herbs on top if desired!

Tip: If you want extra crispy potatoes, try soaking the slices in water for about 30 minutes before seasoning and air frying. This helps to release excess starch.

Enjoy your crispy, golden potato slices! Let me know if you want to adjust the recipe or try different seasonings.
