Here’s a quick and easy way to make scrambled eggs on toast:


🥚 Scrambled Eggs on Toast Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2–3 eggs

  • 1–2 slices of bread (your choice: sourdough, wholegrain, white, etc.)

  • 1–2 tbsp milk or cream (optional, for creaminess)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Butter or oil (for cooking)

  • Optional toppings: chopped chives, cheese, hot sauce, avocado


Instructions:

  1. Toast the Bread

    • Toast your bread slices to your preferred crispness. Keep warm.

  2. Crack & Beat the Eggs

    • Crack the eggs into a bowl.

    • Add a splash of milk or cream (optional).

    • Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

    • Beat with a fork or whisk until well combined.

  3. Cook the Eggs

    • Heat a non-stick pan over low-medium heat.

    • Add a small knob of butter or a drizzle of oil.

    • Pour in the eggs.

    • Stir slowly and gently with a spatula, scraping the bottom of the pan continuously.

    • Cook until the eggs are softly scrambled and slightly creamy (don’t overcook).

  4. Assemble

    • Butter your toast (optional).

    • Pile the scrambled eggs on top.

  5. Add Toppings (Optional)

    • Sprinkle with fresh herbs, shredded cheese, chili flakes, or a dash of hot sauce.
