That sounds like a satisfying and simple meal! Here’s a quick guide to making a tasty Sausage Sandwich with Mayo, plus a great way to enjoy those Lay’s BBQ chips on the side (or even in the sandwich for some crunch):


🌭 Sausage Sandwich with Mayo

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 1 or 2 sausage links (Italian, bratwurst, or your favorite type)

  • 1 sandwich roll or hoagie bun

  • 1–2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • Optional: lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, grilled onions or peppers

  • Lay’s BBQ chips (for the side… or crushed inside!)

🔥 Directions:

  1. Cook the Sausage
    Grill, pan-fry, or bake the sausage until fully cooked and browned (internal temp: 160°F/71°C if using pork).

  2. Toast the Bun (optional but recommended)
    Lightly toast the roll or bun for extra texture.

  3. Assemble

    • Spread mayo on the inside of the bun.

    • Add the cooked sausage.

    • Top with any extras like pickles, tomatoes, or grilled onions.

    • For a crunch twist, layer some Lay’s BBQ chips right into the sandwich!

  4. Serve
    Plate it up with more Lay’s BBQ chips on the side. Cold drink optional, but encouraged.
