Quickest Recipes – Cheesy Cauliflower

Here’s a quick and easy recipe for Cheesy Cauliflower!

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, chopped into florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar works great, but you can mix it up!)
  • 1/4 cup milk (or heavy cream for extra creaminess)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 garlic clove, minced (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp paprika (optional, for a little extra flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Steam the Cauliflower: In a large pot, steam the cauliflower florets until tender (about 7-10 minutes). You can use a steamer basket or just cover the cauliflower with a lid and let it steam in a little water.
  2. Make the Cheese Sauce: While the cauliflower is steaming, melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic (if using) and sauté for about 30 seconds. Then, pour in the milk and bring it to a simmer. Add the shredded cheese and stir until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Combine: Once the cauliflower is tender, drain any excess water and place the cauliflower in a bowl. Pour the cheesy sauce over the cauliflower and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Serve: Garnish with extra cheese or herbs if desired. Serve immediately, and enjoy!

This should take around 15-20 minutes tops, depending on how quickly you steam the cauliflower. Simple, cheesy, and delicious!
