Here’s a super easy and delicious Pudding Cool Whip Frosting recipe β€” light, fluffy, and perfect for cakes, cupcakes, or even as a fruit dip!


🍰 Pudding Cool Whip Frosting

Yield: Enough to frost 1 cake or 24 cupcakes
Prep Time: 5–10 minutes
No cooking required


🧁 Ingredients:

  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant pudding mix (any flavor β€” vanilla, chocolate, cheesecake, etc.)
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
  • (Optional) Β½ tsp vanilla extract or other flavoring

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes, until it thickens slightly.
  2. Let it sit for 2–3 minutes to firm up.
  3. Gently fold in the Cool Whip using a spatula. Mix until smooth and fully combined.
  4. (Optional) Stir in vanilla extract for extra flavor.
  5. Use immediately to frost your dessert, or chill for 30 minutes for a firmer consistency.
