🥔✨ Perfectly Crispy Air Fryer Potatoes
🧾 Ingredients (Serves 2–4):
-
1½ lbs (680g) baby potatoes or Yukon golds, cut into 1–1.5-inch pieces
-
1½ tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp paprika or smoked paprika (optional)
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
Optional: fresh herbs (like rosemary or parsley), grated Parmesan, or lemon zest for garnish
🔪 Instructions:
1. Prep the potatoes
-
Wash and dry potatoes thoroughly.
-
Cut into evenly sized chunks (bite-size = crispier).
-
Optional: Soak in cold water for 15–20 minutes, then dry well — this removes excess starch for extra crispiness.
2. Season
-
Toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
3. Preheat air fryer (optional but helps with crispiness)
-
Set to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
4. Air fry
-
Add potatoes in a single layer (work in batches if needed).
-
Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway through.
5. Finish & serve
-
When golden and crispy, remove and toss with fresh herbs, Parmesan, or a sprinkle of lemon zest if desired.
-
Serve immediately.
✅ Tips for Best Results:
-
Don’t overcrowd the basket — space = crispiness.
-
Adjust time for your air fryer model and potato size.
-
Add a squeeze of lemon or dip in aioli, ranch, or spicy mayo.
