π§Ύ Ingredients:

1.5 lbs beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced into strips

3 bell peppers (red, green, yellow), sliced into strips

1 large onion, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup beef broth
-
1/4 cup soy sauce
-
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
2 tbsp brown sugar
-
1 tbsp cornstarch
-
1 tbsp water
-
1 tsp ground black pepper (or more to taste)

1/2 tsp salt
-
1 tbsp vegetable oil (optional, for browning)
π§ Instructions:
1. Optional β brown the beef:

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Quickly brown the beef strips for 2-3 minutes. (This adds flavor but can be skipped for convenience.)
2. Add ingredients to slow cooker:

Place sliced peppers, onions, and garlic at the bottom.

Add beef strips on top.

In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, black pepper, and salt.

Pour sauce over the beef and vegetables.
3. Cook:

Cover and cook on LOW for 6β8 hours or HIGH for 3β4 hours until beef is tender.
4. Thicken the sauce:

About 15 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry.

Stir into the slow cooker, cover, and cook on HIGH for the remaining time to thicken.
