Here’s a rich and irresistible Pecan Cheesecake Squares recipe—perfect for dessert or a sweet holiday treat!


🧁 Pecan Cheesecake Squares

📋 Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold and cubed

For the Cheesecake Layer:

  • 16 oz (2 blocks) cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Pecan Topping:

  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup (or maple syrup for variation)

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans


🧑‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.


2. Make the Crust:

  • In a bowl, combine flour and brown sugar.

  • Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  • Press evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.

  • Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until lightly golden.


3. Prepare Cheesecake Layer:

  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.

  • Add eggs and vanilla, beat just until combined.

  • Pour over the pre-baked crust and spread evenly.


4. Make Pecan Topping:

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

  • Stir in chopped pecans.

  • Carefully spoon the pecan mixture over the cheesecake layer.


5. Bake Again:

  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.

  • Let cool completely in the pan, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (overnight is best).


6. Slice & Serve:

  • Cut into squares or bars.

  • Optional: drizzle with caramel sauce or serve with whipped cream.


🍁 Tips:

  • Want extra crunch? Toast the pecans before adding them.

  • Use parchment paper for easy lifting and clean slicing.

  • For a holiday twist, add a splash of bourbon to the pecan topping!
