Absolutely! Here’s a flavorful and crispy Parmesan Crusted Lemon Chicken recipe — juicy chicken breasts with a golden, cheesy crust and a bright touch of lemon. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a weekend treat!


🍋🧀 Parmesan Crusted Lemon Chicken

Ingredients (serves 2–4):

  • 2 large chicken breasts, halved horizontally (to make 4 thin cutlets)

  • Salt & black pepper

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated is best)

  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or Italian-style)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

  • Olive oil or neutral oil, for pan-frying


🔪 Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the Chicken:

  • Pat chicken cutlets dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and lemon zest.

  • Drizzle with lemon juice and let sit while you prepare the crust (about 10 minutes).

2️⃣ Set Up Breading Station:

Use 3 shallow dishes:

  • Flour (seasoned with a pinch of salt)

  • Eggs, beaten

  • Breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan and garlic powder (if using)

3️⃣ Bread the Chicken:

  • Dredge each cutlet in flour, shaking off the excess.

  • Dip into beaten egg, then press into the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture until well coated.

4️⃣ Pan-Fry:

  • Heat 2–3 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Fry cutlets for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).

5️⃣ Serve:

  • Let rest on a paper towel briefly, then plate.

  • Garnish with lemon slices, chopped parsley, and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan.


🍽️ Serving Ideas:

  • With a side of garlic butter pasta, roasted vegetables, or a fresh arugula salad.

  • Drizzle with a little more lemon juice or a light lemon cream sauce for extra zing.
