🍝 One-Pot Creamy Beef and Garlic Butter Pasta
📝 Ingredients:
-
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
-
8 oz (225 g) pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)
-
1 small onion, finely chopped
-
4–6 garlic cloves, minced
-
2 tbsp butter
-
2 cups beef broth (or water + bouillon)
-
1 cup milk (or half & half for extra creaminess)
-
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
Salt & pepper, to taste
-
Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
-
Red pepper flakes, for a little heat (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions:
-
Brown the beef
In a large deep skillet or pot, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed. -
Add aromatics
Add butter, then stir in chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until soft and fragrant, about 2–3 minutes. -
Add liquids & pasta
Stir in pasta, beef broth, milk, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer. -
Simmer until pasta is cooked
Cover and cook on low-medium heat for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed. -
Make it creamy
Stir in Parmesan (and mozzarella if using) until melted and creamy. Add more milk or a splash of broth if it’s too thick. -
Finish and serve
Taste and adjust seasoning. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.
