One hundred grams of grated hard mozzarella cheese

Posted on March 26, 2025
If you have 100 grams of grated hard mozzarella cheese and want to make a delicious recipe with it, here’s a simple idea: Cheesy Garlic Bread. It’s quick, tasty, and perfect as a side dish or snack!

Cheesy Garlic Bread Recipe (Using 100g of Grated Hard Mozzarella)

Ingredients:

  • 1 baguette or French bread (or any bread you prefer)

  • 100g grated hard mozzarella cheese

  • 2-3 tbsp butter (melted)

  • 2-3 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, optional)

  • ½ tsp dried oregano (optional)

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare the Bread: Slice the baguette (or your preferred bread) in half lengthwise. If the bread is very thick, you can slice it into individual pieces for a more rustic, personal serving.

  3. Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, and a pinch of salt. Stir well until combined.

  4. Spread the Garlic Butter: Generously spread the garlic butter mixture on both halves of the bread. Be sure to cover the surface evenly.

  5. Add Mozzarella: Sprinkle the grated hard mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the buttered bread. If you’re using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle that on top too for an extra cheesy flavor.

  6. Bake: Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.

  7. Serve: Once it’s done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Slice it into individual pieces and serve warm!

Tips:

  • For an extra crispy crust, broil the bread for an additional 1-2 minutes after baking. Keep a close eye on it to avoid burning.

  • You can add chopped tomatoes or bacon bits on top for extra flavor.

Enjoy your Cheesy Garlic Bread!

It’s easy to make and absolutely satisfying with that rich, melty mozzarella. You could pair it with pasta, soup, or just enjoy it on its own as a snack!

Let me know if you want to try something else with your mozzarella!
