Posted on January 15, 2025

Here’s a delicious No-Bake Cinnamon Tiramisu recipe that combines the creamy layers of traditional tiramisu with the warm, comforting flavor of cinnamon. It’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion!

No-Bake Cinnamon Tiramisu

Ingredients:

For the Tiramisu:

  • 1 package (7 oz) ladyfingers (or sponge cake strips)
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for the coffee mixture)
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar (or sugar substitute for a lower-sugar version)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for the cream mixture)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Coffee Mixture:
    • Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and let it cool.
    • Stir in 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon into the coffee and set it aside.
  2. Prepare the Cream Mixture:
    • In a medium mixing bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together with an electric mixer until smooth and fluffy. This should take about 3-4 minutes.
    • Add 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and beat it again until fully incorporated.
  3. Assemble the Tiramisu:
    • Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled cinnamon coffee mixture. Do not soak them—just a quick dip so that they don’t get too soggy.
    • Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of an 8×8-inch baking dish or similar size container.
    • Spread half of the cinnamon cream mixture over the ladyfingers, smoothing it out with a spatula.
    • Repeat the process with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining cinnamon cream mixture.
  4. Chill:
    • Cover the tiramisu with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together and the dessert to set.
  5. Serve:
    • Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder and, if desired, an extra sprinkle of ground cinnamon for added flavor and presentation.
    • Slice and enjoy this creamy, cinnamon-infused twist on the classic tiramisu!

Tips:

  • For a stronger coffee flavor: You can use espresso in place of regular coffee.
  • To make it boozy: If you like traditional tiramisu with a bit of liqueur, feel free to add a tablespoon or two of coffee liqueur or rum to the coffee mixture.
  • For a lighter version: You can substitute part of the heavy cream with Greek yogurt for a creamy yet lower-fat option.

This No-Bake Cinnamon Tiramisu is a cozy and delightful twist on the classic tiramisu, offering the perfect balance of cinnamon warmth and creamy indulgence! Enjoy!
