Nachos

Let’s build some epic Nachos — crispy, cheesy, loaded with toppings, and perfect for snacking or game day!


🧀 Loaded Nachos

Servings: 4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10-15 minutes


Ingredients:

  • 1 large bag tortilla chips (about 10-12 oz)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)

  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

  • 1 cup cooked ground beef or shredded chicken (seasoned with taco seasoning)

  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes

  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

  • 1/2 cup pickled jalapeños (or fresh, sliced)

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup guacamole

  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

  • Salsa or pico de gallo (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven:

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Layer chips & toppings:

    • On a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter, spread a layer of tortilla chips.

    • Sprinkle half the shredded cheeses evenly over the chips.

    • Add the seasoned ground beef (or chicken), black beans, tomatoes, olives, and jalapeños.

    • Top with remaining cheese.

  3. Bake:

    • Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  4. Add fresh toppings:

    • Remove from oven and sprinkle chopped green onions and fresh cilantro on top.

    • Dollop with sour cream and guacamole.

    • Serve immediately with salsa or pico de gallo on the side.


Tips & Variations:

  • Add corn kernels or sautéed bell peppers for extra veggies.

  • Use queso fresco or cotija for authentic Mexican flavor.

  • Swap ground beef for pulled pork or chorizo for a twist.

  • For a spicy kick, add hot sauce or chipotle peppers.
