🛒 Ingredients:

  • 12 oz spaghetti (about 3/4 box)

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or spaghetti sauce

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Optional: ½ cup sliced black olives or chopped green bell pepper for extra flavor


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Cook the Pasta

  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Prepare the Meat Sauce

  • In a large skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened.

  • Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.

  • Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.

3. Mix the Creamy Cheese Layer

  • In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, half the mozzarella, and half the Parmesan. Mix well.

4. Assemble the Casserole

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, meat sauce, and creamy cheese mixture. Stir to combine.

  • Pour mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.

5. Bake

  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Serve

  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.

Tips:

  • For extra richness, add 1/2 cup cooked bacon or pancetta.
