Here’s a beloved classic: Melt-in-Your-Mouth Chicken — a super easy, ultra-creamy baked chicken dish that lives up to its name. The magic is in the topping, which turns golden and flavorful as it bakes!


🍗 Melt-in-Your-Mouth Chicken

🔸 Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs if preferred)

  • 1 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Optional: ½ tsp paprika or Italian seasoning for extra flavor


🧑‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with foil for easier cleanup.

  2. Mix the topping:

    • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise (or yogurt), Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings.

  3. Prep the chicken:

    • Pat chicken breasts dry and place them in the prepared baking dish.

    • Spread the mayo-cheese mixture evenly over the top of each piece.

  4. Bake:

    • Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes, depending on thickness, or until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden and bubbly.

  5. Optional broil:

    • Broil on high for 2–3 minutes at the end for a crispier, more browned topping.

  6. Serve:

    • Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Pairs well with rice, roasted veggies, or a fresh green salad.


⚡ Tips

  • Thin breasts? Pound them to even thickness or reduce cook time slightly.

  • Make it low-carb/Keto? It’s already low in carbs! Just serve with cauliflower rice or keto veggies.

  • Add-ins: Try a pinch of crushed red pepper, Dijon mustard, or finely chopped fresh herbs for extra depth.
