Here’s a quick, delicious recipe for a Low Carb Crustless Pizza Bowl – all the cheesy, saucy goodness of pizza without the carbs from crust!


🍕 Low Carb Crustless Pizza Bowl (Keto-Friendly)

Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • 1/2 lb Italian sausage or ground beef (or a mix)
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup low-carb marinara or pizza sauce (e.g., Rao’s or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional toppings: olives, mushrooms, spinach, red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Cook the meat:
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage or ground beef with onions and peppers until browned.
    • Drain any excess grease and stir in garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  2. Assemble the bowl:
    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or use an air fryer-safe ramekin.
    • In an oven-safe bowl or ramekin, layer:
      1. A spoonful of sauce
      2. Meat mixture
      3. A bit more sauce
      4. Mozzarella cheese
      5. Pepperoni and any other toppings
  3. Bake or air fry:
    • Oven: Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
    • Air fryer: Cook at 350°F (175°C) for about 7–8 minutes.
  4. Serve:
    • Let cool slightly and enjoy hot!
