Lemon pepper shrimp

Here’s a quick, zesty, and mouthwatering recipe for Lemon Pepper Shrimp—ready in just 15 minutes! It’s light, bold, and perfect for tossing into pasta, rice bowls, or salads.


🍋 Lemon Pepper Shrimp

🦐 What You Get:

Juicy, seared shrimp tossed in a buttery lemon-pepper sauce with a hint of garlic and spice. Fast, fresh, and flavorful.


🧾 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined (tail on or off)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • 2–3 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper (or more to taste)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley, lemon wedges


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Prep the Shrimp:

  • Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and a little pepper.

2. Sear the Shrimp:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

  • Remove from skillet and set aside.

3. Make the Lemon Pepper Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.

  • Add butter, garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.

  • Add black pepper and a pinch of chili flakes if using.

4. Toss & Serve:

  • Return shrimp to the pan and toss in the sauce for 30 seconds.

  • Taste and adjust salt, lemon, or pepper.

  • Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.


🍽️ Serve With:

  • Rice or quinoa

  • Angel hair pasta or zucchini noodles

  • Garlic bread and a simple green salad

  • Inside tacos or lettuce wraps
