Here’s a simple and delicious Lemon Butter Fish Fillet recipe you can try at home:

🐟 Lemon Butter Fish Fillet Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 fish fillets (tilapia, cod, haddock, or any white fish)

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or neutral cooking oil

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Juice of 1 lemon (plus lemon slices for garnish)

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)

Instructions:

  1. Season the Fish:

    • Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels.

    • Season both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. Sear the Fish:

    • Heat olive oil in a nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Add the fillets and cook for about 2–3 minutes per side (depending on thickness), until golden and cooked through.

    • Remove fish and set aside on a plate.

  3. Make the Lemon Butter Sauce:

    • Lower the heat to medium.

    • Add butter to the same pan. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

    • Stir in lemon juice and zest. Let it simmer for 1–2 minutes to combine.

    • Optional: Add a splash of white wine or a teaspoon of capers for extra depth.

  4. Serve:

    • Return the fish to the pan to warm through, spooning the sauce over the top.

    • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and garnish with lemon slices.

✅ Serving Ideas:

  • Serve with steamed rice, roasted potatoes, or sautéed vegetables.

  • Pairs well with a crisp white wine like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio.
