🥩 Juicy Steak with Creamy Garlic Sauce

✅ Ingredients:

For the Steak:

  • 2 ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon steaks (about 1-inch thick)

  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2–3 garlic cloves (smashed)

  • Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • ¾ cup heavy cream

  • ¼ cup beef broth (or chicken broth)

  • ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for heat


🔪 Instructions:

1. Prepare & Sear the Steak:

  • Pat steaks dry with paper towels.

  • Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Add steaks and sear 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare), adding butter, smashed garlic, and herbs in the last 2 minutes. Baste with butter for extra flavor.

  • Transfer steaks to a plate to rest (tent with foil).

2. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium.

  • Add 1 tbsp butter and minced garlic. Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.

  • Pour in the beef broth and scrape up any browned bits.

  • Add cream, Parmesan, and a pinch of pepper. Stir until cheese melts and sauce thickens (~3–5 minutes).

  • Taste and adjust salt/pepper.

3. Serve:

  • Spoon sauce over the rested steak or serve on the side.

  • Garnish with fresh herbs or cracked pepper if desired.


🍽️ Serving Ideas:

  • Pair with mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus, or sautéed mushrooms.

  • For a low-carb option: serve with cauliflower mash or roasted broccoli.
