Iron Boosting Fruit Punch

Here’s a refreshing, Iron-Boosting Fruit Punch that’s not only delicious but also designed to help increase your iron levels — naturally and effectively.


🍓 Iron-Boosting Fruit Punch

Servings: 4–6
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Chill Time: Optional, 1 hour


🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh orange juice (vitamin C helps boost iron absorption)

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice (rich in iron & antioxidants)

  • ½ cup prune juice (great source of iron & fiber)

  • ½ cup apple juice (contains small amounts of iron)

  • ½ cup diced strawberries (vitamin C + iron)

  • ½ cup diced watermelon (hydrating, with some iron)

  • 1–2 tbsp lemon juice (extra vitamin C)

  • 1–2 tsp blackstrap molasses (optional – high in iron, but strong flavor)

  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

  • Ice cubes, to serve


🧃 Instructions:

  1. Mix juices:
    In a large pitcher, combine orange juice, pomegranate juice, prune juice, apple juice, and lemon juice.

  2. Add fruits:
    Stir in diced strawberries and watermelon.

  3. Optional molasses:
    If using blackstrap molasses, whisk it in well — start with 1 tsp and adjust to taste.

  4. Chill:
    Refrigerate for 1 hour if desired.

  5. Serve over ice, garnished with fresh mint.


💡 Tips to Maximize Iron Absorption:

  • Drink between meals, not with dairy or high-calcium foods (calcium can block iron).

  • Pair with iron-rich snacks: a handful of pumpkin seeds, trail mix, or a fortified granola bar.
