📝 Ingredients:

  • 2–3 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (optional, for searing)

🧄 For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • ½ cup honey

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • ¼ cup ketchup

  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated (optional)

  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for a kick)

🔥 Cooking Instructions:

1. Prep the Ribs:

  • Remove the silver skin (membrane) from the back of the ribs if not already done.

  • Season ribs with salt and pepper.

2. Bake or Boil First (Optional but Recommended):

To make them extra tender:

  • Boil: Simmer ribs in water (or broth) for 30–40 minutes. Drain.

  • OR

  • Bake: Wrap in foil and bake at 300°F (150°C) for 2–2.5 hours until tender.

3. Make the Sauce:

While ribs are cooking:

  • In a saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients.

  • Simmer over medium heat until slightly thickened (about 5–8 minutes), stirring occasionally.

4. Glaze & Finish:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or preheat your grill.

  • Brush the ribs with the honey garlic sauce.

  • Bake or grill for 10–15 minutes, turning and basting once or twice, until sticky and caramelized.
