🍯 Honey Garlic Ribs Recipe
🧄 Ingredients:

2–3 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil (for searing, optional)
🔥 For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium preferred)

2 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional, adds depth)

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp grated fresh ginger (optional, for extra zing)

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
🍽️ Instructions:
1. Prep the Ribs:

Remove the thin silver membrane from the back of the ribs.

Season ribs with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. Cook the Ribs:
Option A: Oven Method (Most Common)

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

Place ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet. Cover tightly with foil.

Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
Option B: Slow Cooker

Cut ribs into sections to fit.

Place in slow cooker with a bit of the sauce.

Cook on Low for 6–8 hours or High for 3–4 hours.
Option C: Pressure Cooker/Instant Pot

Add 1 cup water or broth and ribs to the pot.

Pressure cook for 25 minutes; natural release for 10 min.
3. Make the Sauce:

While ribs are cooking, whisk together all sauce ingredients in a saucepan.

Simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.

Set aside (you can thicken with a cornstarch slurry if needed).
4. Finish the Ribs (Caramelize):

Preheat broiler or grill.

Brush ribs generously with honey garlic sauce.

Broil/grill for 5–10 minutes, turning once, until edges caramelize and sauce bubbles.
