🍽️ Homemade Meatloaf Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Meatloaf:

2 lbs ground beef (80/20 recommended)

1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-style)

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 large eggs

¾ cup milk

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 ½ tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp dried parsley (optional)
For the Glaze:

⅓ cup ketchup
-
2 tbsp brown sugar
-
1 tbsp mustard (yellow or Dijon)

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or use a loaf pan.

Mix the meatloaf:

In a large bowl, combine all meatloaf ingredients. Mix gently with your hands or a spoon until just combined—do not overmix.

Shape and place:

Form the mixture into a loaf shape on the prepared baking sheet or press it into a loaf pan.

Make the glaze:

In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread half over the top of the meatloaf.

Bake:

Bake for 45 minutes. Remove, spread remaining glaze on top, and return to oven for 15–20 more minutes, or until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).

Let meatloaf rest 10 minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.
