🍪 Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients (Makes ~24 cookies):

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1. Preheat & Prepare

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
2. Cream the Butter & Sugars

In a large bowl, beat together:

Granulated sugar

Brown sugar

Peanut butter

Mix until light and fluffy (2–3 minutes).
3. Add Wet Ingredients

Add in the egg and vanilla extract. Beat until fully combined.
4. Add Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together:

Flour

Cocoa powder

Baking soda

Salt

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Optional: Fold in chocolate or peanut butter chips at this stage.
5. Shape the Cookies

Scoop dough into 1½-inch balls (a tablespoon or small cookie scoop).

Place 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.

Optional: Press down gently with a fork in a crisscross pattern or leave as rounded mounds for a puffier cookie.
6. Bake

Bake for 9–11 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers look slightly soft.
