For the Dough (or use store-bought pizza dough):

1 tsp sugar

¾ cup warm water (110°F/45°C)

1 tbsp olive oil

½ tsp salt
For the Garlic Butter:

3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

3–4 cloves garlic, minced

½ tsp garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)

1 tsp parsley (fresh or dried)
For the Topping:

1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Optional: Red pepper flakes or Italian seasoning

1. Make the Dough (Skip if using pre-made dough):

In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.

Stir in flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead until smooth (5–7 minutes).

Cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes, or until doubled in size.
2. Preheat Oven:

Preheat to 425°F (220°C).

Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment or lightly grease it.
3. Assemble the Breadsticks:

Roll dough into a rectangle or circle (about ¼ inch thick).
