Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Homemade Bread in the Air Fryer — crusty on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. No oven needed!


🍞 Homemade Air Fryer Bread

🍽️ Servings: 1 small loaf (2–4 people)

⏱️ Prep Time: 10 mins | Rise Time: 1–1.5 hrs | Cook Time: 15–20 mins


🧾 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour or bread flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp instant dry yeast

  • ¾ cup (180 ml) warm water (about 100–110°F / 38–43°C)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for softness)

  • Butter or olive oil for brushing (optional)


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Make the Dough

  • In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy (skip this step if using instant yeast directly).

  • Add the flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

  • Knead for about 5–7 minutes (by hand or with a stand mixer) until smooth and elastic.

2. Let It Rise

  • Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

3. Shape the Dough

  • Lightly punch down the dough and shape it into a round or oval loaf that fits your air fryer basket.

  • Place it on parchment paper (to help transfer and remove easily).

4. Second Rise (Optional but Better)

  • Let the shaped dough rest for another 20–30 minutes for a fluffier result.

5. Air Fry

  • Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for a few minutes.

  • Place the dough (on parchment) into the basket.

  • Air fry for 15–20 minutes, depending on loaf size, until golden brown and it sounds hollow when tapped.

    • Optional: Brush with butter after baking for a softer crust.


✅ Tips:

  • Use a cake pan or silicone mold in the air fryer for perfect shape.

  • Want a crustier loaf? Lightly spritz the top with water before air frying.

  • Add herbs, cheese, or garlic powder to the dough for a flavored variation.
