Ingredients:

  • Garlic powder

  • Vinegar powder

  • Chili flakes

1. Slice the potatoes:

  • Wash and peel the potatoes (optional, skin-on works too).

  • Use a mandoline or very sharp knife to slice very thin rounds (1.5–2 mm thick). Uniform thickness ensures even cooking.

2. Soak the slices:

  • Place slices in a bowl of cold water for 15–30 minutes to remove excess starch β€” this helps make them crispier.

  • Drain and pat completely dry with a clean towel or paper towels.
