Layer the cake: In a 9×13-inch dish, spread half of the angel food cake cubes across the bottom.

Add remaining cake: Layer the rest of the cake cubes on top of the cherries.

Make the pudding: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix, cold milk, and sour cream until smooth. Let sit for a minute to slightly thicken.
