Here’s a delicious and versatile recipe for Cheesy Stuffed Puff Pastry — golden, flaky, and loaded with gooey melted cheese. These are perfect as appetizers, snacks, or savory brunch bites. You can customize them endlessly with herbs, meats, or veggies too!


🧀🥐 Cheesy Stuffed Puff Pastry

Ingredients (Makes 8–10 pieces):

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, Gruyère, or a mix)

  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or chives, chopped (optional)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder or Italian seasoning (optional)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste


🔧 Instructions:

1. Prep the Puff Pastry:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a 10″x10″ square.

  • Cut into 8–10 rectangles or squares (depending on size desired).

2. Stuff with Cheese:

  • Add 1–2 tablespoons of shredded cheese to one half of each rectangle.

  • Sprinkle with herbs, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt/pepper if using.

  • Fold the pastry over and seal edges with a fork.

3. Brush & Bake:

  • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.

  • Optional: sprinkle a little extra cheese or herbs on top.

  • Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden and puffed.

4. Serve:

  • Serve warm on their own, or with marinara, honey mustard, or spicy ranch for dipping.

  • Add a slice of ham, pepperoni, or cooked spinach with the cheese.

  • Make them mini-sized for party bites or larger for lunch.

  • Use pre-made frozen puff pastry (just thaw before using).
