Ginger Water

Refreshing and soothing — ginger water is a classic for digestion, immunity, and a little daily zing


🫚 Ginger Water Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1–2 inches fresh ginger root (sliced or grated)

  • 2–3 cups water

  • Juice of ½ lemon (optional)

  • Honey or maple syrup to taste (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Peel & Slice Ginger:
    Thinly slice or grate the fresh ginger for a stronger flavor.

  2. Boil Water:
    Bring the water to a boil in a small pot.

  3. Add Ginger & Simmer:
    Add ginger to the water and reduce to a simmer. Let it simmer for 10–15 minutes (longer = stronger flavor).

  4. Strain & Serve:
    Strain into a mug or glass. Add lemon juice or a bit of honey if you’d like.

  5. Enjoy Hot or Cold:
    Drink it warm, or chill in the fridge for a refreshing cold version.
