🍗 Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken
Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

4 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup brown sugar (light or dark)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter (optional, for richness)

Salt & black pepper, to taste

1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
🔪 Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the chicken:

Pat dry and sprinkle both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning if using.

Sear the chicken:

Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.

Add chicken and sear 2–3 minutes per side until golden (doesn’t need to be cooked through). Remove from pan.

Make the garlic brown sugar glaze:

In the same pan, lower heat and add butter (if using).

Sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

Stir in brown sugar until melted into a thick glaze (about 1 minute).

Return chicken to pan:

Spoon glaze over the chicken. Transfer pan to oven.

Bake:

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F internal temp.

Baste with glaze halfway through if desired.

Serve hot, spooning extra glaze over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley.
