Absolutely! πŸŽ‰ Funfetti Cookies are colorful, chewy, and full of joy β€” like a birthday party in every bite. These are buttery sugar cookies packed with rainbow sprinkles (and sometimes white chocolate chips), perfect for celebrations or just because you need something fun and sweet!

πŸ›’ Ingredients (Makes ~24 cookies)

  • 1 cup (2 sticks / 226g) unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 Β½ tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 ΒΌ cups (280g) all-purpose flour

  • Β½ tsp baking powder

  • Β½ tsp baking soda

  • Β½ tsp salt

  • Β½ cup rainbow sprinkles (jimmies, not nonpareils)

  • Optional: Β½ cup white chocolate chips

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat to 350Β°F (175Β°C).

  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. Cream Butter & Sugar

  • In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (2–3 minutes).

3. Add Egg & Vanilla

  • Beat in the egg and vanilla until well combined.

4. Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix just until combined.

5. Fold in Sprinkles

  • Stir in rainbow sprinkles (and white chocolate chips if using).

6. Scoop & Bake

  • Scoop dough into 1.5 tbsp balls and place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.

  • Bake for 9–11 minutes, until edges are just set and centers look slightly underdone.

7. Cool

  • Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

  • Want extra soft cookies? Don’t overbake.
