🍓 Fresh Fruit Salad Recipe

Servings: 6–8

Prep Time: 15–20 minutes

Chill Time (Optional): 30 minutes

Ingredients:

You can use a mix of your favorite seasonal fruits, but here’s a balanced blend:

  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup green grapes, halved
  • 1 cup pineapple, cut into chunks
  • 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
  • 1 orange, peeled and cut into bite-size segments
  • 1 banana, sliced (add just before serving to prevent browning)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped (optional)

Simple Citrus-Honey Dressing (Optional but Recommended):

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime or lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon orange zest (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the fruit: Wash, peel, and cut all fruit into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Make the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lime/lemon juice, and orange zest.
  3. Combine: Place all fruit in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with the dressing and gently toss to coat.
  4. Chill (optional): Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
  5. Serve: Garnish with fresh mint if desired. Serve cold.

✅ Tips:

  • Add banana or apples just before serving to prevent browning.
  • For extra crunch, toss in some chopped nuts or toasted coconut.
  • Swap in seasonal fruits like mango, peaches, pomegranate seeds, or melon depending on availability.

Would you like a tropical version, a berry-only version, or a yogurt-based fruit salad?
