Here’s the recipe for Easy Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls:

Easy Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded (or cooked chicken breast)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix (optional, for added flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • Garlic powder and parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.

2. Prepare the Filling:

  • In a medium bowl, combine the shredded rotisserie chicken, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and ranch seasoning mix (if using). Stir everything together until the mixture is well combined.

3. Prepare the Crescent Rolls:

  • Unroll the crescent roll dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Separate the dough into individual triangles (8 triangles total).
  • Place a generous spoonful of the chicken and cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle.

4. Roll Them Up:

  • Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle of dough around the chicken and cheese filling, pinching the edges to seal them tightly.
  • Arrange the rolled crescent rolls on the baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.

5. Brush with Butter:

  • Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with the melted butter for a golden, shiny finish.
  • If desired, sprinkle a little garlic powder and parsley over the top for extra flavor and a pop of color.

6. Bake:

  • Bake the crescent rolls in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly inside.

7. Serve:

  • Once done, remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Tips for the Best Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls:

  • Chicken: You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience, but if you prefer, you can also cook chicken breasts, shred them, and use that instead. Even leftover chicken works perfectly for this recipe.
  • Cream Cheese: Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature, so it blends seamlessly with the other ingredients.
  • Add Veggies: For a little extra flavor and color, you can add finely chopped veggies like spinach, green onions, or mushrooms to the filling.
  • Cheese Variations: Feel free to switch up the cheeses. Monterey Jack, Colby Jack, or even pepper jack cheese can give a nice twist to the flavor.
  • Dipping Sauce: These rolls are great on their own, but they pair well with marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or even a spicy sriracha mayo for dipping.

Storage:

  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds or pop them in the oven for a few minutes to restore their crispiness.

These Easy Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls are always a hit, whether you’re serving them for dinner, an appetizer, or even as a fun snack. They’re cheesy, savory, and perfectly flaky with a little crunch on top. You could even make them ahead and pop them in the oven when you’re ready to eat! Would you add any extra ingredients or dip them in something special?
