Here’s a cozy and crowd-pleasing recipe for Delicious Turkey and Stuffing Balls — perfect for using up holiday leftovers or enjoying a Thanksgiving-style treat any time of year! They’re crispy on the outside, tender and savory inside, and great as a main dish, appetizer, or party snack.

🦃 Turkey & Stuffing Balls

📝 Ingredients (Makes ~12 balls)

  • 2 cups cooked turkey, finely chopped or shredded

  • 2 cups prepared stuffing (boxed or homemade)

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for flavor)

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 cup chicken or turkey broth (as needed for moisture)

For Coating & Baking/Frying

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or olive oil (if baking)

  • Optional: cranberry sauce or gravy for dipping

🔧 Instructions

1. Preheat Oven or Air Fryer

  • Oven: 400°F (200°C)

  • Air fryer: 375°F (190°C)

  • You can also pan-fry in oil for a crispier texture.

2. Mix the Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine:

    • Cooked turkey

    • Stuffing

    • Egg

    • Parmesan (if using)

    • Garlic and onion powder

  • Add a little broth as needed to moisten — mixture should hold together when shaped but not be wet.

3. Form Balls

  • Scoop and roll into golf ball-sized portions (about 2 tablespoons each).

  • Roll each in breadcrumbs for a crisp coating.

4. Cook

  • Bake: Place on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle or brush with butter/oil. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and crisp.

  • Air fry: Spray lightly with oil and air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway.

  • Pan-fry: Heat a thin layer of oil in a skillet and fry until golden on all sides, 6–8 minutes total.

5. Serve

  • Serve warm with gravy, cranberry sauce, or a garlic aioli for dipping.

🧀 Optional Add-ins

  • Diced cooked veggies (like celery, onions, or carrots)

  • Chopped herbs (parsley, sage, or thyme)

  • A cube of cheese in the center for a melty surprise
