Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

Here’s a super easy, cheesy, and comforting Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna recipe — a lazy-day dinner classic that tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen (but really didn’t). Perfect for busy weeknights, potlucks, or feeding a crowd.


🍝 Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

🍽️ Serves 6–8 | Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 4 hrs (on Low)


🧺 Ingredients:

  • 1 (25 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli (no need to thaw)

  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage (or a mix)

  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce or your favorite pasta sauce

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Optional: ½ cup ricotta or cottage cheese for layering

  • Optional: Fresh basil or parsley for garnish


🔪 Instructions:

  1. Brown the Meat:

    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned.

    • Drain excess grease.

    • Stir in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

    • Add half of the marinara sauce to the meat and mix.

  2. Assemble in the Crockpot:

    • Lightly spray the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray.

    • Layer as follows:

      1. A thin layer of meat sauce

      2. A single layer of frozen ravioli

      3. A spoonful or two of ricotta/cottage cheese (optional)

      4. A sprinkle of mozzarella & Parmesan

    • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used up, ending with cheese on top.

  3. Cook:

    • Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–2½ hours, until bubbly and hot throughout.

  4. Rest & Serve:

    • Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.

    • Garnish with chopped fresh basil or parsley, if desired.

  • She’d sneak in a handful of chopped spinach or zucchini in the layers for added veg.

  • Loved to mix a dash of red wine into the meat sauce for depth.

  • Served with garlic bread and a crisp green salad.
