4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt & pepper, to taste

2 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)

Prep the Crockpot: Lightly grease the inside with cooking spray or a bit of oil.

Layer the veggies: Place potatoes and carrots (if using) in the bottom.

Season the chicken: In a bowl, mix olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss the chicken in the mixture.
