Crispy Roasted Cauliflower recipe

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Crispy Roasted Cauliflower that brings out all the natural flavors while giving you that perfect crunch!

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra crispiness)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.

2. Prepare the Cauliflower:

  • Cut the cauliflower into even-sized florets. Try to keep them relatively similar in size so they cook evenly.
  • Place the cauliflower florets in a large bowl.

3. Season the Cauliflower:

  • Drizzle the olive oil over the cauliflower. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss everything together until the cauliflower is evenly coated in oil and seasonings.

4. Roast the Cauliflower:

  • Spread the cauliflower florets out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. For the crispiest results, make sure the florets aren’t overcrowded—this helps them crisp up.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping the cauliflower halfway through, until the edges are golden and crispy.

5. Optional: Add Parmesan:

  • If you want an extra crispy, cheesy finish, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the cauliflower during the last 5 minutes of roasting. It will melt and form a crispy crust.

6. Serve:

  • Once the cauliflower is crispy and golden, remove it from the oven.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
