Here’s a delicious recipe for Crispy Buttered Ranch Chicken – it’s savory, juicy, and packed with flavor from ranch seasoning and buttery crisp coating.


🐔 Crispy Buttered Ranch Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs for juicier meat)

  • 1 packet ranch dressing seasoning mix (about 1 oz)

  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes or panko breadcrumbs (for extra crunch)

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for added flavor)

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional, for color)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • ½ cup melted butter (1 stick)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

    • Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with foil/parchment.

  2. Prep Chicken:

    • Pat chicken dry with paper towels.

    • Season lightly with salt and pepper.

  3. Make Coating Mixture:

    • In a shallow bowl, combine:

      • Crushed cornflakes or panko

      • Ranch seasoning mix

      • Parmesan cheese (if using)

      • Garlic powder

      • Paprika

  4. Dip & Coat:

    • Dip each chicken breast in melted butter, coating well.

    • Press into the ranch breadcrumb mixture until well coated on all sides.

    • Place in baking dish.

  5. Drizzle or Brush Remaining Butter:

    • Drizzle any leftover butter over the top of the coated chicken for extra crispiness.

  6. Bake:

    • Bake uncovered for 30–40 minutes, or until chicken is golden and cooked through (internal temp should be 165°F / 74°C).

  7. Optional Finish:

    • Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end to crisp up the top if needed.

  • Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or a green salad.

  • Great with a side of ranch dipping sauce or hot honey for a kick.
