1 to 1.5 lbs thin beef steaks (round, sirloin, cube steak, or top blade)

1/2 tsp garlic powder

For the Breading:

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

1β1.5 cups breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch or regular)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional but delicious)
For Frying:

1. Prep the Beef

If your steaks are thick, pound them to 1/4β1/3 inch thick using a meat mallet (cover with plastic wrap first).
