Chlebek domowy z frytownicy

Posted on March 27, 2025
Chlebek domowy z frytownicy (Homemade bread in an air fryer) is a fantastic way to make fresh, fluffy bread without needing an oven. The air fryer gives the bread a crispy crust while keeping the inside soft and tender. Here’s a simple recipe to make your own homemade bread in the air fryer!

Ingredients:

  • 250 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1 tbsp dry yeast

  • 150 ml (2/3 cup) warm water (around 110°F or 43°C)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder or onion powder (optional for extra flavor)

  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs (such as rosemary or thyme) (optional)

Instructions:

1. Activate the Yeast:

  • In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and dry yeast. Stir lightly and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy and bubbly. This means the yeast is activated and ready to use.

2. Make the Dough:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and any optional seasonings (like garlic powder or herbs).

  • Once the yeast mixture is ready, pour it into the flour mixture along with olive oil.

  • Stir until the dough begins to form. If it’s too sticky, you can add a little more flour, a tablespoon at a time, until you get a smooth, slightly tacky dough.

3. Knead the Dough:

  • Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough sticks to your hands, dust a little more flour on the surface.

4. Let the Dough Rise:

  • Place the dough back into the mixing bowl and cover it with a damp towel or plastic wrap. Let it rise for about 1 hour in a warm place, or until it has doubled in size.

5. Shape the Dough:

  • After the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Shape the dough into a ball or oval shape, depending on your preference and the size of your air fryer basket.

  • If desired, brush the top of the dough with a little olive oil or melted butter for a glossy finish.

6. Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 160°C (320°F) for about 5 minutes.

7. Cook the Bread:

  • Place the shaped dough into the air fryer basket or tray. If it’s too big, you might need to cut the dough into smaller portions.

  • Cook for 20-25 minutes, checking halfway through. If you’d like a darker crust, you can increase the temperature slightly or cook for a few more minutes. The bread is done when it sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom and has a golden, crispy crust.

8. Cool and Serve:

  • Let the bread cool for a few minutes before slicing. This will allow the texture to set and makes it easier to cut.

  • Serve warm with butter, jam, or your favorite toppings!

Tips:

  • Flour Variations: You can experiment with different flours, such as whole wheat flour or bread flour, for a denser or heartier bread.

  • Add-ins: You can mix in some cheese, olives, or sun-dried tomatoes to add more flavor to your bread.

  • Storage: Store the bread in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze slices for longer storage.

This chlebek domowy z frytownicy is a great and quick way to make homemade bread without the need for a big oven. It’s fluffy, soft inside, and crispy on the outside, just like a freshly baked loaf! Enjoy your homemade bread!
