🍗 Chicken Wings and Fries

Servings: 4
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 40–50 minutes (oven) or ~25 minutes (air fryer)

🔥 Crispy Baked Chicken Wings

✅ Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (split at joints, tips removed)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder (aluminum-free)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet)
  • Optional: ½ tsp cayenne pepper (for heat)

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven to 425°F (220°C) or preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Dry the Wings:
Pat wings dry with paper towels (this makes them crispy).
  3. Coat:
In a large bowl, toss wings with baking powder, salt, and spices until evenly coated.
  4. Bake or Air Fry:
    • Oven: Place wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Bake for 40–50 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
    • Air Fryer: Cook in a single layer for 24–28 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  5. Optional Sauce Toss:
Toss hot wings in your favorite sauce:

    • Buffalo: ½ cup hot sauce + 2 tbsp melted butter
    • Honey Garlic: ¼ cup honey + 2 tbsp soy sauce + 1 tsp minced garlic
    • BBQ: Your favorite store-bought or homemade BBQ sauce

🍟 Homemade Fries

✅ Ingredients:

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, black pepper

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Prep Potatoes:
Wash and cut potatoes into even fries (thin or thick as preferred). Soak in cold water for 30 minutes for extra crispiness, then pat dry.
  2. Season:
Toss fries with olive oil and seasonings.
  3. Bake or Air Fry:
    • Oven: Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway.
    • Air Fryer: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes, shaking occasionally.

🍽️ Serve With:

  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing
