Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of your favorite cheese)
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing or sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)
  • Fresh parsley or chives (optional, for garnish)

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat for easy cleanup.

2. Prepare the chicken filling:

  • In a bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. If you’re using ranch dressing or sour cream, add it in for extra creaminess and flavor. Stir until the mixture is well combined.

3. Prepare the crescent roll dough:

  • Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface. Separate the dough into the 8 triangles as instructed on the package.

4. Stuff the crescent rolls:

  • Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each crescent roll triangle (about 2-3 tablespoons of filling per roll).
  • Fold the dough around the filling, pinching the edges to seal the bundles tightly. You can fold the sides in first, then roll up from the wide end to create a little bundle. Make sure the filling is enclosed, or it may spill out while baking.

5. Bake the bundles:

  • Place the stuffed crescent roll bundles onto the prepared baking sheet.
