🧀🍗 Chicken Parmesan Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients (Makes 2 sandwiches):

2 cooked chicken cutlets (breaded and cooked, store-bought or homemade)

4 slices of bread (Italian, sourdough, or Texas toast work great)

4 slices mozzarella cheese (or 1 cup shredded)

¼ cup marinara sauce (plus more for dipping)

2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp butter (softened)

Optional: basil leaves, crushed red pepper flakes
🔧 Instructions:
1. Prepare the Chicken:

Use leftover breaded chicken, a frozen cooked cutlet (reheated), or make quick chicken tenders.

Slice cutlets to fit the bread if needed.
2. Assemble the Sandwiches:

Lay out 4 slices of bread.

On 2 slices, layer:

1 slice mozzarella
-
Warmed chicken cutlet
-
Spoonful of marinara sauce

Sprinkle of Parmesan

1 more slice mozzarella
-

Top with remaining bread slices.
3. Butter and Grill:

Spread butter on the outsides of the bread.

Heat a skillet over medium heat.

Grill sandwiches 3–4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until golden and cheese is melted.
4. Serve:

Slice in half and serve hot with extra warm marinara for dipping.

Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
