Chicharrones with guacamole

That’s a bold and tasty combo! Here’s a simple way to serve Chicharrones with Guacamole — crunchy, salty pork rinds paired with creamy guac make a perfect low-carb snack or appetizer.


🥑 Chicharrones with Guacamole

Ingredients:

For the Guacamole:

  • 2 ripe avocados

  • 1 small tomato, finely diced (optional)

  • 1/4 small red onion, finely chopped

  • 1–2 tbsp fresh lime juice

  • 1 small garlic clove, minced

  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: diced jalapeño for heat

For Serving:

  • Store-bought or fresh chicharrones (pork rinds)


Instructions:

  1. Make the guacamole:

    • Scoop avocado into a bowl and mash to desired consistency.

    • Stir in lime juice, onion, garlic, tomato (if using), cilantro, salt, and pepper.

    • Taste and adjust lime or salt to your liking.

  2. Serve:

    • Spoon guacamole into a small bowl.

    • Surround with chicharrones for dipping.


💡 Tips:

  • Use plain or lightly salted pork rinds to let the guacamole shine.

  • Add a sprinkle of chili powder or Tajín on top for a flavorful kick.

  • For extra presentation, serve in a molcajete or on a wooden board.
