Ingredients:

1 loaf Texas toast (thick-sliced white bread)

4 tbsp butter, softened

2 cloves garlic, minced or garlic powder (1 tsp)

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or a blend of mozzarella and cheddar)

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Salt, to taste
Instructions:

Preheat Oven:
Set oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. -
Make Garlic Butter:
Mix softened butter with minced garlic (or garlic powder) and a pinch of salt. -
Prep Bread:
Spread garlic butter evenly on each slice of Texas toast. -
Add Cheese:
Generously sprinkle shredded cheese over each slice. -
Bake:
Place slices on the baking sheet and bake for 10β12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly, and edges are golden. -
Optional Garnish:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
